Sometimes people have more money or power than sense and it goes to their head, but in a way that can be either irritating or vaguely comic.

The bombast is a person who sits in the middle of their own world. They love nothing more than an attentive and admiring audience whilst they spout about anything that takes their interest or confirms their superiority, talking loudly and at length.
