Composition

There are two types of cannibinoid receptor: CB1 and CB2. CB1 is found in the frontal cortex, cingulate cortex, basal ganglia, cerebellum, hypothalamus and hippocampus. CB2 is found outside the brain, especially in the immune system.

Drugs

Tetrahydrocannibinal (THC) is the active ingredient of cannabis. It produces analgesia, sedation, appetite stimulation, reduced nausea. It can also help with assorted other problems, for example relieving asthma and decreasing eye pressure in glaucoma sufferers.
