A sentence is a complete and coherent communication that starts with a capital letter and ends with a period. Sentences must obey the rules of grammar, with correct use of syntax and parts of speech.

• Using simple sentences: for clarity and impact.
• Using compound sentences: for detail and confusion.
• Using irregular sentences: for colloquial alignment.
• Using statements: to establish facts, express feelings and appreciate others.
• Using questions: to acquire information and cause thinking.
• Using commands: to gain compliance.
• Using exclamations: to grab attention and evoke emotion.
