Allan Pease, Body Language: How to Read Others' Thoughts by Their Gestures, Sheldon Press, 1997 (Also published as Signals: How to Use Body Language for Power, Success, and Love, Bantam Books, 1984)

Written more for a popular audience than People Watching, this excellent book uses many pictures and diagrams to clearly show the many types of body language. it is particularly focused on social situations with the aim of helping anyone improve their social skills.
